"The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.  But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.  Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."  1 Corinthians 15:56-58

It was a year of blessings

Camp smilesPraise God!  It was a year of blessings...40 schools came for field trips, we made over 50 trips to churches and schools, over 30 groups attended retreats, over 1000 kids came to summer camp and another 1000 enjoyed Day Camp, and hundreds of families enjoyed the fellowship and joys of the campground.  We thank God for your friendship, your support, your encouragement and your faith. Have a blessed Thanksgiving.

Join us for the January Teen Retreat

Monkey see...

Register now for our Winter Teen Retreat!  It will be held January 7-9, and we'll be using the theme "Monkey See, Monkey Do" based on Ephesians 5:1, "Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children."  During the Bible studies and devotions we will learn to be imitators of Christ as we focus on his love and sacrifice.  And of course, the retreat will also feature all the other things you love about camp -- great food, great friends, great activities.  Teen retreats are just...great.

Teens in grades 8-12 may attend.  Register by printing off the registration form (found by clicking the link below).  If you are a youth leader, feel free to print several and pass them out to your teens.  Adult leaders attend for half-price.  Since we have counselors available, chaperones are welcome but not necessary.

Songbook now available

The long awaited Camp Phillip songbook is finished and available for purchase.  Parents, teachers and campers have been requesting a songbook for years, and we think you'll like what you see!  The book features 90 camp songs, most written by present and past camp staff.

The book offers lyrics, melody lines, singing instructions and guitar chords.  It's a terrific resource for homes, churches and classrooms (and a great Christmas gift!).  "I use camp songs to teach catechism class, as part of my church services, and to put my kids to bed most nights.  I'm very thankful for them," says Pastor Christopher Doerr (Grace, Waupun).

To purchase the songbook, go to the Camp Phillip online store by clicking the link below.
